[ OC ] Aku!

I've had this picture on my computer just sitting there, and then on my stash for a while, but I'm finally uploading it!

Okay, so here is yet another OC I've made ;w;!
His name is Aku, and he is a beginner demon in the underworld!

//I think he'll be my main, as I really love him A LOT atm >_>

He is the demon my other OC Red made a contract with, so that he ( Red ) could live on as a half demon ( I have a whole story for these lil' babs but idk if anyone would even be interested to hear them T_T ).
I guess I'll just go on and tell a bit about him, though I've got much more that also has to do with Red, how they met, his story, and so on.

Aku is a real cat-lover and has 3 cats which he adores ( he gave them eternal life in exchange of a life as his pet when they were stray and slowly starving on the streets, and they accepted ^^ ).
If anything happened, he'd give up anything, even his life, to save his cute little companions!
( Yes, he'd abandon Red if need be. Tbh they don't really have that much of a bond, except for Red serving Aku as his underling in exchange of turning into a half-demon. // Haha I now feel like making a comic or something where they create a bond with each other and acknowledge each other as another person with feelings for the first time 0///0 )

His favorite color is a deep violet or purple color, which he wears along with his second and third favorite, yellow and dark blue.

He is an introvert and usually very cautious and nervous, but if he'd stop thinking about Red like a tool, he'd care for him sweetly along with his smol kittens.


In the demon world Aku exists in, demons have different ranks among each other, which they earn themselves through their own actions ( or their underling's actions ).
If a demon does not show themselves worthy of the underworld, then they'll just become a bullied outcast, which would be the worst fate possible as no one would care if another killed them ( and if you stay like that for long, you are sure to die, as there also are many that want to extinguish these worthless demons to create a pure world of strong and respected demons ).

Aku, who had just been accepted into the grown up world of demons ( where actions matter ), became an outcast directly, not knowing what to do to earn trust and respect.
The demon world is extremely harsh in that way, as they think of weak demons as worthless, no matter if they are young or old.

A while has passed since then, and he's accepted Red as his underling ( and in his moment of despair, he only needed him as a tool and nothing more. Therefor, he never really acknowledged Red truly ). 
This helped him get out of the tight spot of an outcast, though if you've ever been one, earning trust isn't very easy.
This makes him severely cautious and anxious all the time, scared of falling off the rank he is now to an outcast.
His strong bond with his cats, are because he accepted them when he himself was an outcast, knowing what it felt like to have lost all hope.
They then continued to be there for him, giving him emotional support ( though even if they have an eternal life, they are still cats and cannot speak ).

He tries his best, along with his cats and Red, to achieve a much higher rank so that he can earn the respect he thinks he deserves.
Whether he succeeds or not, his, his underling's and his cats' lives depends on it.

Note: In this text I mention that demons and creatures they spend some of their demonic power on get eternal life and later on that they can get killed. This is not an error, as they DO have eternal life, as long as they aren't killed. Only the strongest of half-demons or a demon can kill another demon. Occasionally, some of the stronger demons will use their underlings ( half-demons ) to assassinate weaker demons.



// If anyone wants to know, yes, I even gave the cats personalities ( but they don't have names... ). The white fluffy one is pretty much just weird all the time, and likes to sit like in the picture because it has sensitive paws. The tabby cat is a real lazy bundle of fat and fur, it loves eating food and sleeping ( though it doesn't like earning its food, for example hunting ). The small kitten is super energetic and clumsy, so it causes quite the amount of problems wherever Aku takes it, though he still loves it just as much as the other cats. ^^ The band-aids Aku always wears, derives mostly from the trouble the cats causes (demons have very sensitive skin, and half-demons even more so).
